On behalf of Chief Anthony Green of the Moorestown Fire Department we regret to announce the passing of Albertus "Bert" Mauer.  Bert passed away at his home on December 31, 2009. 

Bert made a significant impact and represented the fire service well. A total of 73 years of dedicated service.  Some of his noted accomplishments:

Mitchell Steam, Burlington City 1935 – 1945

63 years with Moorestown, 30 years as an officer.
